Help the Judge family weather an unexpected loss

Almost everyone it seems has been touched by Covid in some form or fashion and unfortunately it has hit us close to home. My Neighbor and his wife were both down with Covid about 4 weeks ago. While his wife Jody was getting better, like so many other people Rick had developed pneumonia from the round of covid and Sunday the 5th his vitals had dropped to scary levels and he was taken to Holston Valley hospital by ambulance and admitted. He was placed on a ventilator and started different treatments. After two weeks of fighting he passed this morning at 9:14am.
Ricky was a Machinist at Eastman and Jody is a Nurse. They have raised three full grown children, Nick, Dakota and Molly. They are all hard working wonderful Christians who never in a million years could have imagined something like this happening. It was just a few short weeks ago that I saw Ricky sitting outside his garage with his son giving me the nightly wave I got coming in from work every night.
Knowing that this was taking a toll on them emotionally and financially. I reached out and discussed starting this page to help maintain the bills and such, just while Rick was away fighting the pneumonia. Now that the worst has happened. I wanted to make this page to help. A lot of people out there don’t know their neighbors or fight with their neighbors. Lucky for us our cul de sac is close knit and although I’ve looked at moving multiple times throughout the years. My neighbors are one of the main reasons of staying. Jody was worried about this page and would never ask for something that wasn’t needed and I assured her in no way would this be portrayed as begging or to put them in a bad light. They have had the most tragic thing that could happen to any family, happen. They’ve lost their rock. A husband, A father and just an all around anchor to this close knit family. The page is just to ask for any help that anyone could spare. The amount doesn’t matter. Just to help try to weather the storm of bills and final expenses being that Jody has completely unexpectedly lost half of her financial stability. Any help is greatly appreciated and all funds will help this family ease the burden of this unexpected loss. Thank you for your help!
