My name is Alec Cantley. My family and I live in Asheville, NC. I have set this page up to help the Kyle, Sheila, and Dawson Jenkins rebuild their lives after the devastation that Hurricane Helene caused. Sheila and I have been coworkers and friends for nearly 15 years. She is one of the most caring, hardworking, and dependable people I know.

Kyle and Sheila worked hard through the night with a backhoe to keep the bridge to their Fairview home clear but the small creek they live by kept rising and ultimately swelled to a massive river. The water ultimately took everything they had, snapping their home in two and washing it completely away with it a lifetime’s worth of memories. The strong water picked up their vehicles as well leaving them with absolutely nothing. They escaped with just the clothes on their back. It is a blessing that their lives and the life of their son, Dawson, were spared.

As they now begin the process of rebuilding their lives it is so important that we surround them with support. The biggest resource needed right now is financial aid to slowly begin putting the pieces back together. Anything you can give to help this family is so very appreciated. Thank you for your support.
