Help The Jade L Roberts Project Save Lives
Donation protected
The Jade L Roberts Project is a suicide-intervention and mental health support charity based in Tuebrook, Liverpool. Our organisation was founded following Jade Roberts, a young woman from Liverpool, taking her own life. Following this, Jade's mother, Tracey, and her brother, Jack, set up our organisation so nobody else has to face the hardest parts of life alone.
We offer a range of services, such as in-person counselling appointments, suicide-interventions and safety plans for those in suicidal crisis and education of organisations and people in our methods of suicide prevention.
At the time of writing, we have conducted over 900 suicide interventions in 3 years. That is over 300 lives saved a year, and 300 families a year saved from bereavement from suicide. We also have many people in our counselling service, with a large team of volunteer and trainee counsellors. We pride ourselves on being able to turn someone around from an initial assessment and referral to counselling in 2 weeks, compared to the usual 6 months waiting list.
We are seeking financial support to help keep our service going. All donations will go towards the running of our organisation, and the saving of lives for all in need of support. We want to expand our organisation and expand our support network as far as possible. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and every penny goes towards saving lives. Any amount, big or small, goes towards saving lives. We strongly believe that, with your support, we can save more lives, help more people, and end the stigma around suicide.
