Help the homeless people of Delhi

Hi, my name is Noor and I'm fundraising for SPYM, an organisation that works with homeless people across India, to provide shelter, food, rehabilitation and opportunity.

Ever since I can remember, I've seen how, in the streets of Delhi, the homeless are ignored and abused. People who have sold their farms, their homes, to pay for a relative to receive care at a city hospital now sleep with their families on the streets as they are stepped over and spat upon and banished to less inconvenient places.

I've often been told that there's no point in giving a few hundred rupees to an individual, because that won't change anything--that there would be no way I could shelter and feed the 300,000 people exposed to the mercy of the weather, police and drug mafia.

The reason I'm shaving my head to raise money for SPYM is because I see them actually doing that, and I think it's better to do what you can to achieve something you believe in than give up because you think you won't be able to. If that is something that resonates with you then I would appreciate it if you could join SPYM in bringing some relief to India's most vulnerable.
