It’s with broken hearts that we share the story of our beloved Mario Hernandez, a man whose cheerful spirit lit up every room and whose strength inspired everyone who knew him.

Mario my brother was first diagnosed with cancer after tumors were found in his head. True to his nature, he faced the diagnosis with bravery and fought with everything he had—and he won. We celebrated his remission as a miracle.

But life can be painfully unfair. The tumors returned, and despite exhausting all possible treatments, doctors have told us there’s nothing more they can do. Mario is now in the final stages of his journey, and we are focusing all our energy on keeping him comfortable and surrounded by love.

We are raising funds to help cover:

* Medical expenses and outstanding bills

* Funeral and memorial costs when the time comes

* Supporting the family through this unimaginably difficult time

Mario brought joy and light to everyone he met. If you ever crossed paths with him, you probably remember his smile, his laugh, and the way he made others feel at ease. Now, we want to give him the peace and dignity he deserves.

Con el corazón roto compartimos la historia de nuestro querido Mario Hernández, un hombre alegre cuya energía iluminaba cualquier lugar y cuya fuerza fue una inspiración para todos los que lo conocieron.

mi hermano Mario le diagnosticaron cáncer cuando se le detectaron tumores en la cabeza. Fiel a su carácter, enfrentó la enfermedad con valentía y luchó con todo lo que tenía—y ganó. Celebramos su recuperación como un verdadero milagro.

Lamentablemente, los tumores regresaron. A pesar de haber intentado todos los tratamientos posibles, los médicos nos han dicho que ya no hay nada más que se pueda hacer. Mario se encuentra ahora en la etapa final de su camino, y nuestra prioridad es mantenerlo cómodo y rodeado de amor.
