Help Hard-Working Family Launch Small Business for their Livelihood
Hello, my name is Sandra Peralta. About a year ago, my father (who lives in Mexico) had a stroke and we needed help with caregiving. That’s when I met Joselyn and her husband Isaac. Joselyn helps take care of my father with such kind love and dedication. I thought that perhaps you’d like to join me in extending some kindness and generosity to her family as well.
I’ve seen first hand the struggles that the Hernandez’ are facing. This is why I’m reaching out on behalf of a wonderful family who has been working tirelessly to build a better future for themselves. They’ve faced some financial challenges recently, but what truly defines them is their determination, resilience, and commitment to creating stability for their children. Unfortunately, Isaac can't find steady work as a handyman or in construction. He’s been doing odd jobs to put food on the table. The sad reality is that the financial situation in Mexico is very difficult too. Honestly, this family never asked me for help, but in a conversation, I learned of their needs and how we can help. Isaac can make real good carnitas but does not have the money to purchase the equipment.
This family has a solid business plan, the skills, and the drive to make it succeed. What they don’t have right now is the start-up equipment needed to take that next step. With the right tools in hand, they will be able to earn steady income, and support their family with the dignity and pride they deserve. Our goal is to help them bridge that gap – not by giving charity, but by investing in their future. Every contribution big or small, goes directly toward purchasing the equipment they need to launch their business and become self-sufficient.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting a new chapter of possibility, stability and hope for the Hernandez.
If you're able to help, you’re not just donating – you’re empowering a family to stand on their own and build something lasting. If you cannot give, please consider sharing this fundraiser so others can help.
Expenses: General equipment $2,000; Freezer and ice box $400; Initial investment on meat $400; Enclosed Cargo trailer $2,500 (they don’t own a pick-up truck to haul the equipment).
