Help Gaza's Hanouna Family

Save the Hanouna Family and help them Rebuild their Lives

Hello,

My name is Hanan, and I’m fundraising to help Mustafa Hanouna and his family survive the ongoing genocide in Gaza. His home & livelihood were destroyed and he had to pay out all of his life savings to afford the crossing permits needed to evacuate to Egypt, thereby saving himself, his pregnant wife and their baby daughter.

He is currently in Egypt but he has sadly lost six members of his family who couldn't leave Gaza. They were all murdered by an IDF air strike and included:

*His father Sami Hanouna

*His brother Ibrahim Sami Hanouna, and Ibrahim’s wife (Asma’ Tafish), and their daughter Meera,

*The wife of his brother Yousef (Asma’ Arafat) and their daughter Aya.

Other members of Mustafa’s family who survived, sustained horrific injuries. These include 4 children from his martyred brother Ibrahim: Sami, Siraj, Jood, and Mayar, in addition to his nephew Motassem, son of his brother Yousef. Thankfully, these children have already been medically evacuated by the NGO ChildrenNotNumbers and they are being medically treated in the UAE.

Mustafa's brother Yousef is still held hostage by the IDF, while his 17 yr old brother Muhammad is severely injured.

In essence, Mustafa has become the sole bread winner for 17 members of the Hanouna family who are still alive, and remain besieged in Gaza. As a Palestinian in Egypt - he is not allowed the right to work.

I aim to raise £25,500 (equivalent to approx $32,500 to help him in this endeavour. It will be used to cover the currently exorbitant living expenses (food, shelter, medicines..e.t.c) for that part of his family that is still trapped and struggling inside Gaza . These remaining members are displaced between the north and south of Gaza: his sisters and their children in the south need regular supply of pampers, food, and milk, while his severely injured brother Muhannad in the north needs regulars visit to the hospital for medical care and transport for schooling.

Mustafa is a hard working Palestinian father who is willing to strive to support his family, he just needs a bit of help from all of us. After so much suffering and destruction of their livelihoods, let’s help the Hanouna family stand on their feet again.
