Help the Guy Family and Penelope
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my good friend Danielle Guy and her whole family. At the end of January, Danielle suddenly lost her stepmom, Ann Guy. Annie was a wonderful wife to Nick Guy for 19 years and a loving mother to her daughter Sami and her four stepdaughters, Christina, Nicole, Katie, and Danielle. Though Annie’s stepdaughters were not her biological children, she loved and raised them just the same. Losing Annie has been devastating for the entire family, and the suddenness of her passing has caused increased financial stress on the family.
Not long after Annie’s passing, their beloved family dog, Penelope, also developed issues with one of her teeth. She now requires surgery to remove the tooth, costing a couple thousand dollars. Penelope is a spunky and sweet 7-year-old dog who technically is the family dog. However, everyone really knows she is actually Annie’s dog. Annie was the one who picked Penelope when she was adopted, and Annie has also been Penelope’s favorite person. The family will do whatever is necessary for Penelope, even if it adds additional financial strain.
I am reaching out to ask for donations to help with the cost of Penelope’s surgery and a portion of the expenses related to Ann’s funeral. Though nothing can take away from the difficult loss the Guy family is experiencing, assistance with the cost of surgery and funeral expenses will go a long way to helping Nick and the family. Danielle and her family are incredibly grateful for any donation amount, or if you are unable to donate, sharing this post helps too.
