My sister's husband was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's and dementia a few years ago, and his condition has declined to the point where he is unable to care for himself and needs 24-hour care and supervision.

My sister is paying out of pocket to have a caregiver come in and help her take care of him while she works full-time to pay for his care and provide for their son.

Recently, the family was told that they would need a new heating system.
