Today, our family experienced something truly terrifying.

A car crashed directly into my brother’s home, causing severe damage and leaving it unsafe to live in. Inside the home at the time were my brother, his wife, and their child—who was nearly hit in the accident.

By some miracle, everyone is physically okay. But the emotional impact of what happened is something they are still processing. In just seconds, their home—the place they felt safest—was taken from them.

They are now displaced with nowhere to stay and are facing overwhelming, unexpected challenges as they try to recover from this traumatic experience.
