Help the Fowlers Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected

On the afternoon of Hurricane Helene, Lizzie and Ryan Fowler, along with their three children, faced unimaginable terror as floodwaters rapidly rose around their car in western North Carolina.
Trapped and unreachable by rescue services, a brave neighbor got to them just in time. While they are safe and have temporary housing & transportation, they lost almost everything of value. Their only car is beyond repair, and they aren’t sure when they will be able to safely move back into their home due to a flooded crawl space creating a potential mold hazard.
Ryan, a double leg amputee, also lost his prosthetic attachments in the flood and does not have adequate replacements. Now, the Fowlers are in urgent need of a new vehicle, a new hot water heater, help cleaning out their flooded crawl space, potential mold remediation, new prosthetics for Ryan, winter clothing, and basic necessities like groceries. Your generous donations will go towards those expenses.
This family has been through more than anyone should in the last few years, so we are reaching out to our community for support on their behalf. Every donation will help this resilient family get back on their feet after such a harrowing event. Any amount makes a difference. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
