Married in the Spring of 1961, Charles and Betty Forrester have been together for 62 years. Throughout the years, there have been many health emergencies (namely 2 terrifying bouts with cancer, a triple bypass, and many, many surgeries) and through them all, Betty was able to stay by Charles’s side during every hospital stay. Recently, Charles was hospitalized in the ICU for 23 days due to complications of congestive heart failure. On the first night of his ICU stay, he had to be put on a ventilator, eventually leading to a tracheotomy. Betty never left his side. She spent every single second right by his side. Well this morning around 5:20 Charles Forrester went to be with the Lord. This time has been a difficult for Betty physically and financially. Some unexpected expenses have placed the family in need.
