Help the Flip Project to Get Out The Vote

The Flip Project takes artists, activists, musicians, analysts, organizers, and other canvassing volunteers to key areas in battleground states to GOTV. We use innovative messaging and experiment with novel tactics designed to reach voters in creative, meaningful, supportive, and even playful ways. We’ve done everything from street theater to billboards to mural contests, allowing us to reach voters that traditional door-to-door canvassers miss.

We focus on joyful connection with all the people we meet, bringing lively attention to upcoming elections, candidates and issues and providing needed information in the right place, at the right time, in the right language. Our non-traditional GOTV outreach includes singing canvas, street theater, music videos, social media outreach, mural competitions (click the link to see our youtube video), art cars, multi-lingual voter support materials, block parties, promoting free rides to the polls, and more.

We’ve registered voters from Maine to Florida plus everywhere in between, made a catchy jingle to explain Ranked Choice Voting, and worked with underserved communities to develop tools to lower barriers to voting. Now we’re back and better than ever for 2024!
