Hi y’all!

We are honored to share the story of our close friends Hannah and Connor, as they continue to grow their family through adoption. The Flaherty’s mean so much to us and we want to help them in any way we can throughout this process. It has been a privilege to watch them become such incredible parents to their 2-year old son Jax and we would love nothing more than to have your support in assisting them as they continue to grow their family!

One of the primary barriers to adoption is the cost. Adoption is a beautiful journey, but comes with significant financial challenges. In the US, the average cost to adopt a child can range from $40,000-60,000, covering agency fees, legal expenses, travel costs, and more.

We’d like to share a message from Hannah & Connor in hopes that you can get a better understanding of their story and how to support them:

I (Hannah) was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure in 2018, which meant we would be unable to have biological children. Infertility feels incredibly lonely and there were moments where I felt I had failed in my purpose. My entire life, the desire to be a mom was strong on my heart. I always dreamed of having a large family, so when I got this diagnosis, we were devastated. Shortly after we were married we tried multiple fertility treatments, but ultimately, they were unsuccessful.

While heartbroken about this outcome, God ultimately had a greater plan for our journey to becoming parents. In January of 2023, Connor and I were blessed with the adoption of our son Jax, and he is the greatest gift in our lives. He radiates joy and his smile lights up any room. We could not imagine our family without him! He is a true testament that God has a plan for our family that is far better than we could have ever planned. When Jax was placed in our arms at birth, it just made perfect sense and we know now this was how our family was meant to be created. It still feels like a dream that we were chosen to be Jax’s mom and dad and we are holding onto hope that we can continue to grow our family through adoption. We are so appreciative of any and all support and we will never be able to adequately express our gratitude or how much each and every one of you means to our family.

This process is filled with many unknowns and uncertainties including a lack of control and emotional highs and lows. Therefore, above all else, we ask for your prayers. Prayers for peace, strength and unwavering faith as we once again open our hearts to adoption!
