Help the Eygabroads with Immigration Fees
Donation protected
Would you consider helping us raise funds to cover legal fees for our immigration process?
Here’s a little of our story for those who may not know:
Bryan and I have been serving with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Lesotho since 2013 (Bryan since 2009). Bryan is a pilot/mechanic and has a servant's heart. He loves and excels at teaching and training. My heart is to help others in any way I can — physical therapy, mentoring, or just a listening ear.
Our son, Matthias, was born in Johannesburg in 2013, and we adopted our daughter, Isabella, in 2018 here in Lesotho. I am homeschooling both of them while pursuing writing part-time.
Bryan and I both have a heart for mentoring new missionaries. Back in 2019, we felt the Lord leading us to return to America for Bryan to transition from MAF Lesotho to an on-loan position as an Instructor Pilot at Mission Aviation Training Academy (MATA) and for us to work together with the MAF Waypoints program mentoring new missionaries.
We needed to wait until we got a US immigration visa for our adopted daughter before we could return to America permanently. In September 2020, we submitted an immigration petition to the US Center for Immigration Services. Between the Covid pandemic, changes to the immigration process, and the paperwork backlog, our petition has been sitting idle for over three years.
As of October 2023, there has still been no movement on our petition, so we have retained an immigration lawyer to try to expedite our process.
That being said, this is an unexpected expense. We appreciate your consideration for helping us reach our goal. We pray the legal fees don’t exceed our goal amount, we will adjust as expenses are incurred. If donations exceed our legal costs, any remaining funds will go toward household furnishings once we return to the US permanently.
This is a personal fundraiser and is not sponsored by Mission Aviation Fellowship.
GoFundMe donations are personal gifts and not tax-deductible.
Thank you for your continued financial and prayer support!
