My name is Dolores Borza, and I am Nolan's grandmother. I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Michael, Brenna, Nolan, Bryan, and Nathaniel Ellis.

Our family has been forever changed by this tragic accident, and watching my son and grandson fight through these devastating injuries has been heartbreaking. I wanted to do something to help ease the financial burden so they can focus on what matters most—their healing.

Our family has been turned upside down after a tragic accident that left Michael and his 6-year-old son, Nolan, with life-threatening injuries.

Nolan and Mike were airlifted to Mass General Hospital, where Nolan remains in an induced coma with two skull fractures, a bruised brain, and bleeding on the brain. Every hour is critical as he continues to fight.

Michael suffered devastating injuries as well, including a broken upper jaw, broken arm and wrist, broken sternum, broken ribs, lacerations to his liver and pancreas, serious head injuries requiring stitches, and a severe knee injury. He has a long road to recovery ahead.

While they focus on healing, Brenna is staying in Boston with Nolan, trying to be by his side every moment she can while also caring for their family. The emotional toll is unimaginable, and the financial burden is growing every day.

We are asking for help to ease some of that burden. Donations will go toward:

Medical expenses and out-of-pocket costs

Travel to and from Boston, including Steamship Authority ferry expenses

Food, parking, and daily necessities while Brenna remains at the hospital

Lost income during Michael's recovery

Household expenses so the family can focus on what matters most—being together and helping Michael and Nolan heal.
