If you're receiving this, it's because you are one of the lucky ones. One of those whose life has been impacted by the generous love of Ron and Heather Eckert.
On Sunday, November 2nd, Ron left for a routine run in his neighborhood and never returned home, having suffered from probable cardiac arrest. Heather, Rosie (18), Sadie (15), and Barnes (10) are obviously devastated as they rebuild and find a new way of living this life without Ron in it.
We know that many of you have already reached out and are finding creative ways to offer love and support - keep doing that! But if you are looking for a quick and tangible way to support this family for the long term, long after the flowers and meals and gift cards have stopped, we encourage you to consider giving a financial gift that will help support this family that has supported so many of us.
The hope is that this practical support will lighten the burden of this next season of life as Rosie continues with her degree, Heather completes her masters, and Sadie and Barnes work toward their own future goals.
Ron lived over the top - over the top with love for his "one wild and precious life", love for his family, his hospitality, his love for "a good word", his love for Jesus, and his love for you too. Will you join us as we go over the top for his family?
In the words of one of Ron's favorites, Richard Rohr: "Authentic love is of one piece. How you love anything is how you love everything." Take a big ol' bite!
