According to BBC the Taliban have taken over more territory in Afghanistan in the last 2 months than they did before they were ousted from power in 2001. Many people have fled their homes and have flowed into Kabul due to the Taliban taking over their villages. The safest place in Afghanistan is Kabul and people are living in parks with nothing to eat or drink. The global perspective human stories (UN News) states that 270,000 newly people have been displaced this year.
