A Journey Home for the Demetrics Family.

I am organizing this fundraiser to help my sister and her family in this time of need. They are a family of four - Esther (37), Nana (5), Amar (2), and Aury (9 months) - navigating an unimaginable loss. Their husband and father, Demetrics (39), was a dedicated provider whose joy was his family. In 2019, they moved to Egypt, and together they built a beautiful life, welcoming three children: daughter Nana in 2020, son Amar, in 2023, and son, Aury, in early 2025.

But their journey took a tragic turn in July 2025. On a day that began like any other, their lives changed forever. Demetrics, their loving rock, was on an errand, but my sister's soul stirred with a premonition that he was taking too long. A phone call confirmed her deepest fears. Her Love was gone, leaving a void that can never be filled. Aury was just six months old. It is a pain beyond measure to know her youngest son will not remember his father’s bright eyes or contagious laughter.

Three months have passed, and their family and friends have provided much-needed support. She is now focused on a new path: bringing her children and herself back home to our family. The emotional weight of this loss is compounded by the logistical and financial hurdles of returning from Egypt.

My prayer is for the compassion of others to help us gain the financial traction needed for this journey. We are humbly seeking any assistance you can offer. It would be a blessing, helping a widow and her children find their way back to our community so that we can support them during this long journey ahead.
