This fall, Deirdre —a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of five wonderful boys—received life-changing news. While in her second trimester of pregnancy, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

Deirdre is courageously undergoing treatment while preparing to welcome their sixth child into the world. Her husband, Mike, works full-time to support their family, but when the baby arrives, he will need to take time off work to care for Deirdre and their children so she can continue her treatment plan and focus on healing.
