Help the Cowen Family Remodel for Tyler's Needs

My name is Madi Cowen and I am trying to help support my brother Tyler Cowen who was paralyzed after an incomplete spinal cord injury. The Cowen's were involved in a horrible boating accident on 4/13/2024 on Skiatook Lake. His wife Cassi and their 2 boys Chase and Bentley suffered minor injuries and Tyler suffered a severe incomplete spinal injury, a skull fracture, and a crushed wrist, which limits his mobility. We are so blessed he is still with us. We aren't sure what the road to recovery looks like from here but we are hoping for all of the love and support we can get for this loving family. Tyler was taken to St. John's by ambulance while Cassi and the boys were taken to St. Francis. Tyler was admitted to the Neuro ICU where he underwent 2 surgeries back to back and was a total of 14 hours. He remained there for 13 days until he had recovered enough to be admitted to the inpatient physical rehabilitation center to start to regain his strength. He spent 33 days in the hospital total. He now has 3 Dr.'s appointments a week since he has been home. Only time will tell if he will walk again but we have so much faith. Tyler is a hard working man and provider who always puts others first. He is always the first one to lend a hand. It's not easy for them to ask for help so I'm doing this for them to help take any extra stress off of them while Tyler's recovering. We just want him to be able to focus on recovery. We are raising money for The Cowen's to be able to remodel their home, especially the bathroom, along with equipment so Tyler will be able to live comfortably to the best of his ability in his wheelchair while he is recovering and regaining strength day by day.
