Help the Clement Family after their Devastating Loss

Hi, I'm Ashley Boyd, a chef & restaurateur here in Charlotte NC and a friend of Rob Clement. I met Rob in 2017 in the kitchen at Heritage Food + Drink in Waxhaw, NC, where we both worked, and knew at once he was good people. At our first conversation I was struck by the love and admiration Rob held for his wife, Franki, and the joy he derived from their life together. Over the years I had the opportunity to spend time with Franki and Rob as they became the devoted parents of two beautiful children who were absolutely the light of their lives. They were a tight unit as they raised their family, parenting with boundless love and focused intention.

Unfortunately, Franki was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2022 when their youngest child was just 2 years old. Despite her courageous battle with this disease, during which she continued caring for her family, working, and living her life to the fullest, Franki passed away on January 8th at the age of 35. Obviously, Rob is devastated at the loss of his best friend. It is a tall order to not be consumed by grief at a time when his young children need him more than ever.

I am asking for your help so that Rob can keep as much normalcy in place as possible for his kids during this extremely difficult time, while he figures out how to support his family financially as a single parent. Your contributions will be used to help offset everyday expenses and bills over the coming months, as Rob navigates the next stage of his family's life.
