Fire Takes Family's Home

Hi, my name is Charlotte, and this GoFundMe has been established for Micayla Hanson & Walter Chubbuck (Tewksbury MA) and their two children. The family lost the immediate use of their home to a sudden, severe storm on September 8, 2023. The damage from electrical fire and subsequent water damage has rendered the home inhabitable. Thankfully, no one in the family was hurt and the two beloved cats were saved and brought to an animal hospital for medical attention. This year has already been incredibly tough on this family with major medical issues which include their young son with severe asthma and ongoing compromised health concerns. It will be a long process to rebuild their home. The two children who happily started school recently, have lost all the clothing and tools needed to succeed academically. The parents have lost most material items and clothing yet still need to get to work.

The Coworkers of Micayla have set up this page for contributions to aid the family while awaiting insurance claims which is a long process. Please, any donation to assist these good people with new clothing, school, supplies and food as they recover from this devastating loss is greatly appreciated.
