Mindo Choi and his wife, Eunjik Lee, along with their three children, ages 7, 12, and 16, are facing an unimaginable challenge after their home was severely damaged in a devastating house fire. The fire began next door, nearly destroying both homes completely. While two firefighters sustained minor injuries, thankfully the Choi-Lee family is safe, but their furniture and belongings were unsalvageable due to fire and water damage. They are currently staying with church members while looking for temporary housing. As they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives, please consider supporting this beautiful family.

Eunjik devotes her life to raising her children and serving her church. She is also a dedicated member of the Howard County Public School System, working tirelessly to support children with special needs. Her husband, Mindo, earned a Ph.D. in physical oceanography and works as a contractor for NOAA, committed to protecting our planet through his work. The Choi-Lee family had just moved into their Turf Valley home this summer, pouring their hearts into renovations and making it a welcoming place for their three children. Sadly, Eunjik’s parents, who had just arrived from Korea for their first visit, witnessed this nightmare. In an instant, their world was turned upside down, and now they are displaced, rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
