PLEASE SHARE! – Help Chicago’s Homeless Population and Small Businesses
As the Coronavirus has left restaurants empty, tourist attractions closed, and continues to force people to work from home, the streets of Chicago have been left barren. Chicago’s homeless population has relied on the City’s daily foot traffic to survive. With that coming to a halt, it makes it even harder for them to live under already difficult circumstances and it’s becoming increasingly harder to ignore. As Sam and I have tried to help as much as possible, we’ve realized the problem is much greater than the help we, alone, can provide which is why this fund has been created.
With your help, we are raising money to provide necessities to our homeless population. As we all know, Chicago’s small businesses are another group within our community struggling from this pandemic. We pledge that all necessities purchased from your donations will be from small businesses throughout the city. Necessities include clothing, non-perishable food, hot meals and toiletries.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
A share is as impactful as a donation! Given the circumstances, we recognize people may not be in a financial position to donate. In our mind, sharing this post is just as important as a donation as it helps to get the word out. For those who do have the means to donate, anything helps (whether $1 or $1,000 all donations are greatly appreciated!).
