We are the Cheung family. It was just Harper, my wife (Candice), and me. On September 2, we welcomed a new addition, Phoebe, to our family. She was a great bundle of joy that we had been waiting for over 2 years. She was perfect in every way. While we were celebrating the joyful event that night, there was nothing that could prepare me for what was about to unfold on September 3, 2025.

On September 3, my wife had a brain bleed that led to an emergency brain surgery. Then, they had to perform another brain surgery on September 4 because of new fluid in the brain. This tragic event has devastated my family tremendously. I had never expected to see my wife smiling while holding her newborn one night, then the next day, the world was turned upside down for her. Since the tragic event, she has fought through all the ups and downs to get to her current recovery road at rehab. There is a long journey ahead, and I am willing to walk this journey with her to bring her back to the family. There will be many ups and downs and unexpected expenses as well. I will circle back if there are medical expenses more than I can handle.

Without my wife's income, my family is making it through just okay. However, I have come to realize that I do not have much funding available for the holiday for Harper and Phoebe. I am usually the quiet type and do not like to ask for help. Since all this has happened, I have learned that there are times I just need to ask for help. I am asking for your generosity to help me give Harper and Phoebe a memorable Christmas. I am asking so my wife does not have to worry about this holiday season.
