Hurricane Helene ravaged our Western North Carolina community on 9/27/2024. We live 15 minutes west of Hendersonville, NC. The storm left our family of four with devastating losses.

*The Damage*

Our home, vehicle, and livelihoods were severely impacted:

- Flooded home with significant damage to basement belongings and roof

- Vehicle damage, leaving us without reliable transportation

- Non-functional well pump, contaminated water source

- Loss of income due to business closure

- Ongoing medical expenses for chronic health issues
