Hi everyone. My name is Jack Moore and I'm raising money for my friend Ismala from Gambia. His family is trying to buy the compund they live in,  but unfortunately they are very poor and can barely afford to feed their family, let alone buy their home. Ismala's parents run a small firewood business in the Brikama village, but this is not nearly enough to support their family of 12.
I first met Ismala when he was appealing for donations for food on twitter. We quickly struck up a friendship as he is one of the sweetest souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is incredibly passionate about football and I am convinced he will one day become a football star. I often joke with him that he will play for Barcelona one day. He is incredibly smart, despite not having been to school for the last four years, again because his family has not been able to afford the fees. 
Ismala is such an incredible human being for a 16 year old. He and his family have had it so so rough his entire life but he always remains positive despite everything.
