Help the Unsung Heroes of Nepal

Donation protected
Your donation becomes life-saving equipment directly placed into the hands of the community volunteers. Every dollar funds essential gear like drones, camera traps, computers and torches that prevent fatal animal attacks, reduce conflict, and keep both people and animals safe.

$50 - Covers a meaningful share of core equipment. Helping fund camera traps, drones, torches, and other tools used to prevent human-wildlife conflict.

$500 - Funds a complete camera trap set-up placed in community forests to detect wildlife movement and prevent dangerous encounters.

$1,000 - Funds a drone used in active elephant conflict response, allowing patrol teams to locate elephants and safely deter them from entering villages - protecting crops and preventing fatal encounters.

Every dollar helps; your support matters regardless of its size! Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your support goes directly toward the equipment that protects communities and wildlife. Real impact is built together.

SUPPORT LOCALS FIGHTING FOR COEXISTENCE OVER CONFLICT

Bardia National Park is one of Nepal’s greatest conservation success stories - tiger numbers have more than tripled, wildlife numbers are exploding, and forests are recovering.

But as wildlife rebounds, so does human–wildlife conflict.

Over 150,000 people live beside the park with no fences. Tigers, leopards, elephants, and rhinos move freely through community forests where families collect water, firewood, and graze livestock. Crops are destroyed, livelihoods are at risk, and lives are lost.

In the middle of this of all of this are the young volunteers of the Community-Based Anti-Poaching Unit (CBAPU).

They’re the first to respond when an elephant enters a village.
They warn communities when a tiger walks too close to homes.
They patrol, restore forests, run nurseries, start alternative income projects, and monitor wildlife through various means.

Their work helped bring poaching in Bardia down to almost zero, and today, they are essential to keeping both wildlife and people safe.

But they are drastically underfunded.

Camera traps break. SD cards fill up.
They patrol in extreme heat. Computers are outdated. Safety gear is limited. And still, they continue.

What they need now is simple: equipment.

100% of donations go directly to essential tools:

Drone, Camera traps, laptops, torch, binoculars, GPS units, batteries, SD cards, Hard drives, cameras, microphones, funds for fuel, vehicle maintenance and other items they’ve requested to strengthen their patrols and community work.

No admin fees from our side.
No overhead.
Every contribution becomes something tangible in the hands of the people protecting Bardia’s wildlife and the communities living beside it.

If you want to support a proven model where both people and wildlife rise together, your donation makes an immediate impact on the ground. The next batch of equipment will be delivered in February 2026.

Thank you for helping empower the CBAPU volunteers doing extraordinary work with limited resources.
