Jacob, Ryan and Leslie Boyer’s son, was admitted to the hospital after doctors discovered a large mass located over his heart. A biopsy has since confirmed lymphoma cancer. Unfortunately, due to the location of the mass, it cannot be removed surgically.
Because of the seriousness of his condition, Jacob will remain hospitalized for an extended period of time as he begins chemotherapy treatment.
This has been an overwhelming and frightening time for their entire family. Right now, their sole focus is on supporting Jacob as he prepares for months of intensive treatment and recovery.
While this diagnosis is a tremendous hurdle, Jacob is only 24 years old, with so much life ahead of him. He is engaged to his fiancée, Alyssa, and together they were just beginning to plan their future.
The financial impact of this diagnosis will be significant. Jacob will be unable to work for several months, leaving him without income during treatment.
Between lost wages, medical bills, extended hospitalization, chemotherapy treatments, travel, meals, and everyday living expenses, the costs quickly add up.
This GoFundMe has been created to help relieve some of that burden so the Boyer family — and Jacob and Alyssa — can focus on what matters most: his health, strength, and recovery.
Funds raised will help with:
• Lost income during months of treatment and recovery
• Medical and hospital expenses not fully covered by insurance
• Chemotherapy and follow-up care
• Travel, food, and lodging during prolonged hospital stays
• Everyday living expenses while Jacob is unable to work
Any amount — no matter how small — makes a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping the Boyer family in your thoughts and prayers.
The road ahead will not be easy, but with community support, love, and hope, they do not have to walk it alone. Together, we can help lift one burden from their family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
