For the past 15 years, Annie and Kirk Blackwood, owners of ND Life Spa, have been pillars of support in our community. They have given generously to our youth, local teams, and countless neighbors, always putting others first. Their kindness and dedication have touched so many lives, making a real difference in Bismarck.

Recently, tragedy struck when ND Life Spa suffered a devastating fire that resulted in an unimaginable loss. The Blackwood's were left without insurance coverage after their previous insurer went out of business January 31, 2026. Despite their efforts, they were unable to secure an agency who was willing to provide coverage for the short two months remaining before ND Life Spa closed their doors on March 31, 2026. The Blackwoods made a difficult decision and announced the closure of ND Life Spa in Feb 2026. They planned to move back home to Idaho. They have been called to help care for Kirk's mother who is battling Alzheimers dementia. This unexpected disaster has left Annie and Kirk facing inconceivable hardship.

Needless to say, the Blackwood's are trying to recover after losing everything they worked so hard to build. The funds raised will help them with attorney fees, hire a private fire investigator, help with daily life expenses and give them the chance to start fresh.
