We never imagined we would be in this position. What started as concerns in our home quickly turned into something much more serious. As more was uncovered, we were advised that conditions in the home made it unsafe for our family to remain. We were forced to leave our home and are now displaced, trying to navigate what comes next. In the process, we lost most of our belongings and had to walk away from the place we thought was safe for our family. This has been incredibly overwhelming, especially as we work to keep life as stable and normal as possible for our children during such an uncertain time. We are currently staying in temporary housing while we figure out next steps. The funds raised here will go directly toward temporary housing, replacing essential items for our children, and covering basic living expenses as we move through this unexpected season.
