Hello everyone!

My name is Emily Bell. My sister-in-law, Katie Bell, and her family (husband Brandon and daughter Brooklyn) have encountered a rough road these past few months. After finding out they were expecting their second baby girl, Katie started experiencing issues with her sight, extreme nausea, migraines, etc. Thinking this was pregnancy-related, she didn't worry too much - until it got worse. After heading to the ER, the doctors found she had a brain tumor sitting right behind her left eye. As if that wasn't enough, they quickly learned in order to take care of Katie's health, there could be some potentially scary consequences due to the pregnancy. Both Katie and baby girl's life were on the line.

Fast forward to June. Katie and baby have been hanging in there. Going to multiple doctor's appointments and monitoring symptoms, not only with pregnancy but also with the tumor as well.

Unfortunately, this past week, Covid hit their family and things have gone downhill. Brandon initially tested positive Sunday June 19, and by Tuesday, Katie tested positive, causing her health to spiral and send her to the hospital.

After having a very difficult time breathing, Katie went to urgent care, and later on to the ER. She was admitted with 2 pulmonary embolisms, 1 in each lung, which has caused shortness of breath. They have her giving herself shots in the stomach daily to help remove the clots.

Katie and baby girl are strong, but need our help! Any little bit you can donate will help ease the stress of the pending medical bills, loss of work (potentially), etc. that they will inevitably experience. From my family to yours, we deeply, deeply appreciate your help!
