Update:
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from the community. Thank you for your generosity! Our initial goal to cover the family's immediate expenses has now been reached. We are humbled and deeply appreciative of your support. Beyond the first few months, there will be more financial need to help cover mortgage payments, transportation, and health-related expenses so we have extended the goal in anticipation of these needs. Thank you in advance for helping care for us during this difficult time. We are encouraged and moved by your compassion towards us!
Dear friends, family and church family,
The Beerman family is humbly and sincerely asking for your help. It's with heavy hearts that we share the news that Dad (Tim Beerman) has been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. His diagnosis comes with a life expectancy measured in months, not years. Dad has chosen a natural treatment plan, as the more traditional treatment plans are very hard on the body and have an extremely low efficacy with this type of cancer.
More than anything, we ask for your prayers for Mom and Dad and the family at this time. We are trusting that God is in control, and that he has the power to heal Dad, but we also understand that His will may be to take Dad home to be with Him forever.
Dad has faithfully served Jesus and the church throughout Ontario for the past forty years in various roles teaching God's word and leading people. Recently, while waiting with hopeful anticipation for another role in ministry, he has been driving a truck. The cancer has totally drained Dad of energy and at this point, he is unable to work or do anything mentally or physically demanding. Mom continues to work during this difficult time, but they are not able to meet their financial needs on solely her income.
It's with this in mind that we are asking for the help of our dear friends, family and church families. Please consider giving financially to my parents to help them pay their bills while Dad is sick and can't work. It will be one less thing they have to worry about through a journey that comes with so much to think about.
We are grateful to God for your love, prayers, and support.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth
