On July 4, 2025, our Bearden family in San Angelo was hit by an unexpected and catastrophic flood that left our family home in ruins. Everything—our home, our personal belongings, and critical healthcare equipment—was lost in the devastating waters.

Our parents are the heart and soul of our family. They provide 24/7 care for our 82-year-old Grandpa, who is living with dementia, heart problems, and other serious health conditions. They have dedicated their lives to caring for him and the rest of us, working tirelessly to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of.

This flood has not only displaced us, but it has also disrupted the care that Grandpa so desperately needs.
