Hello, my name is Logan Baker and I’m asking for your help to prevent my wife & children from losing their home.

I married the woman that I fell in love with when we were both teenagers. We grew up together and made the family that we always dreamed of having. My wife (Anna) my 12 year old Autistic Son (Gabe) and my 8 year old dancer daughter (Lana) are my joy and reason for existence.

I have worked 12 hours night shift manufacturing with tons of overtime my entire adult life to provide for my family. I’ve always gotten good reviews and never been fired… until.

On the last day of work before the weekend, I reported a sexual harassment claim on behalf of one of my female team members… I was notified that I was fired at a corporate level without my company discussing anything with my supervisor or managers.

You hear about stuff like this, but you never think it’s going to happen to you. I diligently reported sexual harassment to my supervisor… and I was retaliated against at a corporate level by my company.

As you can imagine, lawyers are involved now, and I am diligently trying everything I can to keep food in the cabinets and the utilities turned on… but I had a really good job and so my mortgage payment is not something that I can cover.

The first thing I said to the HR person who called to tell me that they were firing me with no severance was … “ You can’t do this, I just bought by house and now my children are going to lose it.”

I’m trying really hard to find another job. My wife is working her butt off, but she was only a former stay at home mom who was just trying to re-enter the workplace with a part time job when this happened.

I am a 35-year-old man who has lived paycheck to paycheck trying to provide a good life for my family. We just got to a point where we felt like we could afford buying the home we’ve been living in for the last 6 years, but we’ve got no savings. Having a special-needs son is an absolute blessing… but it’s financially tough.

Would you please consider helping us with our house payments until we can get back on our feet?

My starting goal is the amount needed to bring our mortgage payments up to date.

Any money above the target amount will be used to cover utilities, medical expenses, and food for my children.

I write this with tears flowing. I assure you, my wife and children are kind loving people who are worthy of your charity.
