On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Randy Baker, father to Jackie, Michael, and Jeremy, passed away suddenly in his sleep beside the love of his life, Tammy. Randy was a prolific artist and beloved by his ten grandchildren. His unexpected departure has left a gaping hole in the hearts of his family, especially his devoted wife of 46 years.
Randy and Tammy lived on a fixed income and rented their home. Just last month, they made the difficult decision to cancel Randy's life insurance to reduce expenses amid concerns about upcoming changes to Medicare/Medicaid and wage garnishment for student loans. This has left Tammy in a precarious financial situation. For the foreseeable future, she will be living with Jackie, whose family of four currently shares a small two-bedroom home.
