As many of our family and friends know, Zach and Mackenzy are expecting twins in June of 2025.
On the morning of February 24th, Mackenzy was having painful cramping that lead them to the nearest hospital, after finding out she was in-fact in early labor at only 22 weeks pregnant, she was transferred then by ambulance to Boise. On February 25th in the early hours Mackenzy gave birth to her and Zach’s first baby girl Raleigh Mae Baity (twin A) weighing in at only 1 pound 3 ounces already beating all odds and statistics as she came into the world crying and moving around. Raleigh was sent right away to the NICU to perform life saving measures where she continues today to fight for her life. Her twin sister Charlotte Rae Baity (twin B) is still in her mommy’s belly. Raleigh and Charlotte do not share an amniotic sac or placenta, allowing this rare miracle that twin B is able to continue to stay in her mommy’s belly. We pray she stays to grow healthy and strong before joining her sister .
Zach and Mackenzy have had their world turned upside down. Their love for each other, Raleigh and Charlotte is very strong. As they lean on each other and their family during this journey, we are asking for your generosity and support on behalf of The Baity family. Every donation, no matter the size, would allow them to concentrate on care and recovery.
We understand if you are not able to donate, but we would sincerely appreciate your prayers and positive thoughts for Zach, Mackenzy, Raleigh and Charlotte during this time. If you could also share this with others it would be deeply appreciated.
