At 3am on December 31st, Ana’s daughter woke her up to tell her a fire was happening. She attempted to put the fire out after her daughters made it out, but the hose was frozen. The cold kept her from realizing that she was on fire. She is currently at the burn unit in Augusta suffering from second degree burns, while her daughters are staying with a friend.
