As many of you know my son and I have been put in a horrible situation.
Joe was deported to Ghana in March. Our 8 year old son lives in constant fear and panic. Joe provided our family with great health insurance and now my son has no Heath insurance. The loss of Joe’s Income and health insurance has been devastating to our family.
We have an attorney fighting for us and I will be needing to paying her for her services.
In the last 10 years we have been taken advantage of by an attorney here in Utah and it ended up messing up our case. We have put out over $41,000.00 in attorney fees and paying the fees to try and become legal.
The system here in the US is broken! Joe worked with legal documents and paid taxes for 15 years. He entered the US legally. He is very respectful and took good care of his family. He has no criminal history.
People ask all the time why he was targeted and my answer to that is I have no idea.
Ice had been following our family for months. One night while playing with my son and watering my flowers in our front yard there was an ice agent taking pictures of us. I had no idea who it was and hurried and got my son in the house.
An Ice agent told my husband our phones were tapped.
An ice agent put in writing and sent it to my attorney saying if I would give them my husbands passport they would let him come home to us while the motion my attorney filed was pending.
That back fired and they lied to me and all it did was get joe out of the country sooner.
Our motion and I130 is still pending to date.
