On the morning of March 28, 2026, the Alston family - George, Kenyatte, and their three children, were awakened by smoke alarms as a sudden kitchen fire engulfed their home. George was air‑lifted to the hospital for smoke inhalation and is now doing okay. Kenyatte and the children are safe and temporarily staying with neighbors, but their home and all of their belongings were lost in the blaze. The family is grateful to be together, but they have an immediate need for housing, clothing, personal items, and basic supplies as they begin to recover.
We’re raising funds to help the Alstons cover urgent expenses: temporary housing, medical costs not covered by insurance, clothing and toiletries, replacement of essential household items, necessary electronics for school and work, cleanup and recovery costs, and to give them a financial bridge while they get back on their feet. All donations will go directly to the family, and we will post updates along the way.
The Alston children are creating Amazon wishlists to help replace what was lost - another great way to support their recovery. Links to be posted here soon. Please give what you can and share this campaign with your community. Every dollar and every share helps the Alstons move forward after this devastating loss. Thank you for your kindness and support.
