Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am starting a fundraiser for my sister Jesabelle Tabello and her family. My sister has a fiance named Jason and a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Jade. On August 1st my sister was 35 weeks pregnant. At approximately 1am on that Sunday, two men broke into their home. They opened my sister's bedroom door where she and her dog Raja were sleeping. They immediately starting shooting, they fired 5 times and shot my sister in the arm and shot her dog in her front leg. My sister was rushed to the hospital but did not have surgery on her arm until next day afternoon. The surgery was to put 2 metal plates in her upper arm, and was successful, but at the end they decided to perform an emergency c-section, and her son Jordan was born. He is in the NICU and it's currently doing well, thank God. Their dog Raja, had her leg amputated but the next morning, did not make it due to an infection from the bullet. My sister and her fiance have long road ahead of them, because essentially they are homeless. They will not be going back into their house to live, especially since the intruders have not been caught. Besides recovering from surgery, and having a newborn baby to take care of with no home, they will also now be drowning in vet and hospital bills. Due to my sister being in recovery, and unable to physically take care of her newborn, Jason must take weeks off of work to step in, some of it unpaid. Also, they need money to be able to find a new place to live ASAP. This is a tragedy that should not happen to anyone in their own home, although we are thankful that my sister and her baby are going to be okay, knowing it could have been much worse.
