Support Patricia's Family Through Tragedy

Hello Facebook friends and family, as some might know our family has suffered two horrific tragedies this week.

My parents Patricia and Louis Algarin were victims of a nasty grease fire in their home on May 8th. Though everyone made it out safe, their kitchen unfortunately was taken. Along with smoke and debris damage throughout their home. My sister Lauren and I quickly got them out and into a safe Extended Stay hotel while we worked out a plan for our family home.

Sadly, one week later on May 15th our family was struck with another completely devastating blow as our father had passed away in his hotel room as we cleaned up our parents house.

Not only are we trying to navigate working through a house fire, we now are left to grieve the life of our father as well.

With costs of home repair and smoke damage repair and now along with cremation and service costs, any little bit helps. As we try to pick up the pieces of our family and rebuild my mother’s life.

My father was a very stubborn, prideful and independent man, and I find myself with some of those same characteristics. It can be so hard to ask for help, but I appreciate anyone and everyone who can help my mother and our family through this truly difficult time. Without insurance, life (and death), emergencies and tragedies can be almost more overwhelming than the situations. Any money donated will be going towards our Fathers cremation/funeral/memorial plans, including bringing him home to our older sister Tiffany and brother Shane and all of his siblings and family in California. Along with helping my mother through this house fire that has taken so much from her already.

We are just so thankful for the people in our lives who have been so supportive and loving.
