Help the Aglios Grow Their Family.. The Hard Way

Hello, My name is Emily. I am starting a GoFundMe for Taylor and Alex Aglio so they can help grow their family, the hard way. I have been a really good friend (basically family) of the Aglios for almost four years. In short, to know them is to love them and having them in your life is truly an honor. Alex is an Active Duty Marine and Taylor is stay at home mom.

Three and a half years ago they were blessed with their little girl, Keola (Keo for short). Keo is one of the sweetest, smartest, funniest little girls you'll ever meet. She quickly becomes your best friend the second you meet her. After Keo's first birthday in July, 2019 the Aglios met with fertility doctors to begin the journey of having a second baby to love. In September of 2019, Taylor found out she was pregnant! So much emotion filled their home. Love, happiness, and gratefulness. Their prayers were answered and Keo was so excited to have a baby sibling. They guarded those feelings going into their first appointment to hear baby's heartbeat, around 6 weeks. Baby Aglio looked and sounded great! The excitement grew.

Two weeks later they went to check on the growth of the baby to find no heartbeat... Taylor suffered from a partial molar pregnancy and after her DNC was monitored for 4 months in the middle of moving to their next duty station.

After countless IUI attempts, several purchases of vials, negative test after negative test, which is often followed by many tears for the last two years, the Aglios are exhausted and defeated. Fertility procedures are not covered by their medical insurance and doctors are strongly recommending the Aglios try INVOcell. This method of fertility is similar to IVF and has similar success rates, which are much greater than IUI. Infertility is a painful journey that most don't talk about. With that being said any blessings that are donated will go directly towards this procedure to help the Aglios grow their family.
