We are almost home!!

The past couple of months have turned our world upside down, and we are now in a very real race against time to get our family into a safe and stable place.

We are a family of six, and everything changed fast. We lost our stable housing sooner than expected, stepped into another situation that has not been safe or sustainable, and now we are doing everything we can to move forward before the end of this month.

The good news is this: as of today, April 11th, we have a place lined up.

A 3 bedroom 2 bath home in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

On top of that, Meghan received three job offers today.

It genuinely feels like God is opening the path in front of us.

Now we just need help walking it.

So instead of just asking for help, we want to make this clear and transparent and give people a way to be part of something real.

Here is exactly what it takes to move our family and restart our life:

U Haul rental: $2,500

Gas for the trip: $850

Hotel stay during travel: $500

Security deposit: $1,279

First month rent: $1,279

Food during transition: $300

Flight back to get family: $400

Total: $7,108

We will be updating this as we go and showing what gets covered and by who.

People have already stepped in in powerful ways:

Someone helped cover our phone bill for the year so we can stay connected.

Someone helped us get diapers and wipes for the kids.

Someone helped Meghan get her substitute teaching permit so she can start working.

These are not small things. These are the exact steps that move a family forward.

Here is the plan moving forward:

April 24th

Jeremiah picks up the U Haul. It is already reserved but must be paid at pickup. We will need help loading that day.

April 25th to 26th

Jeremiah will drive the truck to Wyoming over two days and arrive on the 26th. We are hoping for help from local church members and family to unload since his back is still not fully recovered.

April 27th

He will fly back to Sacramento.

April 28th

After taking James to the airport to visit his mom, Meghan, Jeremiah, and their daughters will begin the drive to Wyoming in their van. Justice will be staying with Grandma during this transition.

April 30th

We arrive and finally settle into our new home.

We are also currently waiting on an unemployment decision that could help stabilize things, but as of right now we cannot rely on that in time.

This is where we are at.

This is real.

This is urgent.

We are doing everything we can on our end. This is not us sitting still. This is us fighting to get our family into a better situation.

If you feel led to give, now you know exactly what you are helping accomplish. You can literally help move a family from instability into a home.

If you cannot give, sharing this or praying for us matters more than you think.

None of this would even be possible without God and the people He places in our lives. We are seeing that clearly right now.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with us in a moment that truly matters.
