The 99w Drive In is one of two drive ins left in the state of Oregon. This winter, with Oregon’s strong wind storms, an abandoned theater on the drive in property was knocked in by the strong winds, causing massive damage to the structure. This crowdfunding campaign aims to fully demolish and clean up the structure and use the space for more spots at the 99w Drive In theatre.

this past season, we were voted as the number one theater in the Portland Oregon area in the Oregonian readers choice, we also continued our excellent program and started new traditions! We wish to continue to carry these new traditions and keep the drive in going! With your help we can do this!

the theater industry is at a low with many new deals going on in the studio system, we will be going through this new era in Hollywood and movie making the same as we ever have! We want to provide the best possible experience for movie goers and continue our excellent programming and events!

this crowdfunding campaign simply wishes to cover the cost of permits, equipment, and labor into the demolition and cleanup of the collapsed twin cinema to ensure the drive in experience is untouched.

Although this campaign is being run by the manager of the 99w Drive in, the beneficiary of this campaign is the Francis family, the owners of the property. They will be receiving the funds from this directly through the beneficiary program of GoFundMe. These funds go directly to them and the companies we will be hiring to do the demolition and clean up of the collapsed structure.
