Help Thank Veterans with Day of Fishing

In 2018, Brian McCutcheon, a resident on Cape Cod, MA, started taking veterans fishing to thank them for their service and sacrifice. He is not a veteran himself; He is just profoundly grateful for them. Every veteran he takes fishing gets to keep their fishing pole which he has refurbished just for them.

He is currently raising $5,000 for the following:

  • Pay for supplies to refurbish fishing rods and reels for veterans
  • Compensate captains for fuel usage who donate their time
  • Refurbishing a 15 foot alluminum boat to have on hand
  • Pay the the annual fee for the new website www.wet-vet.com
  • Creating a marketing plan
  • Fees to become a non profit
