I’m Teresa, and I’m asking for help during one of the hardest times in my life. I am losing my eyesight, and it has reached a point where I can no longer see well enough to work. While I wait for eye surgery, I have been doing everything I can to hold on, but I am struggling to keep up with basic bills, especially my electric bill. My brother has been helping as much as he can by covering my electric bill for the last two months and part of this month, but he can’t afford to keep doing that. My father is also dealing with financial challenges of his own and is not in a position to help.

The support from this fundraiser will help me keep my electricity on, feed my pets, and cover the medical copays I need right now for my psychologist, foot doctor, and primary doctor. For months, I have been donating plasma to make those copays and to care for my pets while I wait for surgery, but it is starting to affect my health, and I’m trying to stop relying on that to survive. Any help you can give would mean so much to me as I try to get through this difficult time. If you’re not able to donate, sharing my fundraiser would also be a blessing. When I get through this and get back on my feet, literally and financially, I promise to pass it on and do for others what others have done for me.
