Help Open Tempe's First Birth Center!!

Hello!

We, Kate Paxton and Wendi Cleckner, are dedicated to options in birth, and it drives every aspect of what we do. Tempe currently only has one option for birth - homebirth. This is great, but people need choices in childbirth. Creating a new option - a beautiful birth center - is a thrilling adventure with a long list of needs. We center joy, community and justice in our work. We have always believed in and participated in the power of our community to accomplish beautiful things! We can do nothing alone, but we can do everything with community! SO it is to our generous community that we come humbly asking for help to get Tempe's first birth center up and running!

 

First and foremost, the birth center will need cash! Dang, it's expensive to get renovations, building permits, licenses and pay all the people working hard to make it happen!

 

Second, the birth center will need equipment, furniture and all the things to make TBC beautiful! Below is a list of our current needs. If you have an object that meets the description and are willing to donate it, please contact us via email so we can arrange a time to pick it up. If you want to give a monetary donation towards a specific item, we want to recognize your generosity in your specificity. Please just make a note - "Please spend my $700 on a doppler.”
