Help Temescal Neighbors Plant Trees
Donation protected
Temescal Neighbors (TemescalNeighbors.org), a local volunteer group, is working with Trees for Oakland to plant twenty new street trees in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland, California.
To do this, we need your help to raise at least $150 per tree to cover the cost of buying a tree, digging a hole, planting the tree, and installing protective tree stakes, plus another $300 per tree if cutting through the concrete sidewalk is needed.
Trees provide SO many benefits to our daily lives. Trees make the neighborhood more inviting, reduce air pollution & provide clean air, cool your house and the streets, slow traffic, help curb climate change, create homes for birds and other animals, and more.
Planting a tree is one of the best things you can do for the future of Oakland—please help us reach our goal!
In the (happy) event that we surpass our goal, we will use the extra money to continue planting additional street trees.
